The Saga of Rosemary Goodfruit
The reef that extends from the southwesternmost point of the island is formed of the collapsed remains of the highest points on the island, upon which formations of coral have formed. It teems with life, but is quite deadly to humans due to the strong southern tides and the sharp rocks and coral. The sea to the north of it is much calmer, forming a slight lagoon in which ships can more or less safely shelter, though the waters are shallow.
It is possible that more of the island’s ruins have been lost to the collapse of the south, and at least one keystone is lost amongst the reef, having been dropped there by Leni on his, albeit courageous, attempt to retrieve it from a precarious needle of rock.
